I think - but I may be wrong - that the game has proven to be a success. And myself and many other people said in recent polls that they would subscribe.

In regard to the game business model, I would appreciate to have more feedback and papers - be it here or elsewhere - about the the current state of the game, soon to come features and long term goals. (If there are many detailed information elsewhere, please tell me)

The coming extension will probably be nice but it only concerns high level characters. And from what I know, it's "just" a new area. I'm personally expecting more.. What are you going to do with the cash? What's worked on? When can we expect the new npc guilds? Any details about how it will change the core game? How will you balance - if you think it's necessary - the already implemented game mechanics?

To put it simply: What can we expect? At least share with us a few details

I wouldn't honestly expect to hear more until Craglorn is out, but that's just me. I imagine they have an internal roadmap of some kind.

As I personally share in a much different shard of their business, mixing mastering and ultimately producing rap and hip hop instrumental tracks, I understand what they're doing. (edit: to clarify this statement, i'm talking about in concern with the advertisement and ultimate production of new media content to the consumer's hands)

Just as I can't go advertising the future of my business before the current activity of my business, they can't either.

So, right now, they want you excited about Craglorn. I think they also want the average player to vie to have a VR1 by the time of release.

If so, they can reasonaably expand on the VR content, which is really the important content, without leaving too many people to experience launches of new content that they cannot access yet.

I don't see the current journey to lvl50 being only an introduction to the "real content" but I could be wrong. Also, I'd like people to have good reasons to travel between all the maps. Enhanced crafting, new game mechanics, economy, lore..

Anyway, I hope that the game doesn't have too much a "linear approach".

For example, the different area/towns could have specific aspects to encourage people to discover them and use them later.

Anyway I do understand above statements. You're probably right.

The only difference with a music album release is that a mmo is always a work in progress. And it's not only about new content/area. It's also about balancing the already implemented features.

I think I've been spoiled by Landmark and the sheer amount of communication they have going. All other companies seem withholding and non-helpful in comparison.

True. Also the kickstarter campaigns confirm this new trend: you have to communicate about what you're doing. There are risk of course, but people want to be involved so that they don't have bad surprise. That way they don't have any doubt: they won't waste their time due to a misunderstanding.
