Crafted items simply can't compete with mob dropped items on price. White, green and blue items simply drop far too often.
As a side "exploit" some players don't repair their gear, and simply replace with white & green items that drop. When some players don't pay repair bills they move the bill to prevent inflation over to the remaining players. Players who have bad gear potenially perform badly in dungeons making the game less enjoyable for the rest. The players who don't pay repair bills don't fear death as much which means they don't need quality gear to complete quests without deaths.
Solutions:
Make white, green and blue dropped gear far more rare.
Make sure the recycle option in crafting makes a check toward the repair state of the item and lower chance to get green/blue/epic materials based on
the repair state. So players don't get mats back from recycling unrepaired gear.
Higher level white gear should have their stats reduced. For example after lvl 10 the white stats should just stay at lvl 10.
Don't make white gear cheaper to repair than blue. White,green and blue should all cost the same to repair, only luxury items like epic and legendary should have higher costs if any. Don't reward players for wearing crap items.
When everyone has to pay repair costs then better gear will be favored as some situations can be tricky.
Resurection gems:
These gems are far to common at the moment make them rarer so death actually comes at a cost. Max once per Public dungeon, the only place you should be able to farm them is in group dungeons(to make 4mansmore popular). (and ofcourse the soul skill). If players have to choose between running back or using an actual precious gem then better gear will be favored.
Consider making dropped gear look bad or used. While crafted gear has a premium look.
