lvl 25 kills lvl 50 in pvp with 2-3 hits ...

I am lvl 50 with good medium gear and i am usualy not a nub in pvp. But now i see how some guy lvl 25 kills me in less then a second with 2 or 3 hits.

Can someone explain it to me?

He had two daggers i had a bow, i hit him first then next second he killed me, looked like he just used two instant skills.

That does sound a bit weird, but there are some extremely effective low level builds for burst.
Did you get a chance to recognize the class?

Probably need just a tad more info than provided. Like their weapon, armor type, skill usage, what you were doing, etc.

Fun fact: The only good part of the pre-50 bolstering is the weapon and spell damage. They actually are comparable roughly to VR10 gear/character, unlike the resource/regens which are weaker than a well built level 35-40ish character.

Stats are scaled in Cyrodiil. Still a difference between players due to skills available and gear, but the overall base is roughly the same. The difference between 25 and 50 isn't as great as you think it is.

Low level stats are bolstered, you don't have as big an advantage as you think you might.

Opening stealth crits can hit for a large chunk and then you are pretty much free game.

I'm levelling an alt purely in PvP, currently level 15, and I only have trouble with higher levels if they are in a group or they get the jump on me.

I'll put down a VR1 as quickly as i'll put down a level 10 if I get the opening crit strike and they aren't built for survivability.

That's why I love PvP. People throw points into stam and gear for DPS which lowers their chance of surviving by quite a lot.

For what it is worth, smaller skirmishes/duels seems to be largely (emphasis here!) on whoever gets the initial attack. If a level 10 snipes me while I am riding by on a horse, I'm pretty much dead. It is just how the game is set-up.

But then, I run around Cyrodiil with my PvE heal spec and suck at killing anything, so any advice from me is probably not worth much

Didn't think of that.

Yeah, vampires and werewolves are pretty much free kills regardless of level if the person you are fighting has levelled fighters guild.

Even if that person hasn't levelled fighters guild, vamps are still free kills.

Silver bolts and fire are not your friend .... and there is a LOT of fire damage in PvP.

Personally I love fighting vampires in PvP. It's like having AP thrown at me.

Saw a thread yesterday about an exploit where people are able to cast multiple heavy damage skills with no pause to to bypassing the animation. Sounds like this to me.

Well i can tell that he had two daggers and that was no way a stealth attack because i hit him first.

Couple of possibilities. First, you are a vampire. Second, he had a full bar of ultimate and hit you with death stroke.

Is it possible you lagged and he actually opened on you a few seconds earlier while you were lagging? I've had combat lag where the animation for a cleave doesn't occur until about 2 seconds after the target has died. It doesn't happen frequently, but it happens more than I would like.

Sometimes while I'm out questing I will see people just destroying stuff and not losing any health and being the same level as mobs... Makes it feel like I'm doing something wrong
