A biography, and perhaps some more interaction when reviewing the characters around you would be quite excellent actually.

I remember SWG having a crude for of this (and of course EVE gives you a page to type some bites on) and some stuff you'd stumble on while randomly viewing someone's info while stood at a vendor, was incredable.

I've seen fan content art & story wise that's often compaired to/if not beaten content by the talent staff of the game it's self, and that always shows me a good loyal strong community with a passion for their game and a true love of their character!

Ringil - Imperial DK Tank - read Richard K. Morgan's fantasy series and you will know why I picked that name

Marc Mafleche - Breton Templar - to tease my very tatted hubby

Talwyn of Sheogorath - Altmer Destro-Sorc - because madness is fun, and Talwyn felt elven

J'ziitaa of Nocturnal - Khajit Dual-NB - If the thieves' guild ever comes out, guess what he'll be

Bard of Sheogorath - Bosmer Archer NB - Because 1 mad character is NEVER enough, and Bard from the Hobbit (I felt JRR deserved a better version of his character than Peter Jackson gave him...)

    Eva Artemisia

Artemisia (Ancient Greek 480 BC) was queen of Halicarnassus, a city of Dorian Greeks in the Achaemenid satrapy. She fought for her overlord Xerxes , A great King of Persia against the free Greek city states during the second Persian invasion of Greece. She personally commanded her contribution of five ships at the naval battle of Artemisium and in the naval Battle of Salamis in 480 BC. She is mostly known through the writings of Herodotus, who mentioned her as the only female commander on either side. Herodotus praises her decisiveness and her intelligence, emphasizing the respect in which Xerxes held her.

    3 characters currently:

J'Fuzzybutt- Khajiit Nightblade. If you don't get it, my explaining it won't work.
Anata Alascura- Imperial Templar. A loose translation of "Darkwing Duck" into Italian (because I'm too lazy to do Latin).
Drinks-When-Sad- Argonian Nightblade (with a different focus). This one should also require no explanation.

Now that no one can take my names, I feel I can finally reveal them (I was paranoid pre-Early Access).

My main is a Breton Nightblade named "Ghostflower", a name I often use in games. It's from an OTEP song, but I also like how it combines "ghost" (she is a rogue) and "flower"... I also figure that as a rogue, she might leave a white flower at the scene of her crimes. ;) As one might expect, she is short, pale, with dark eyes and the black lipstick face-makeup. The one-word name fits as a rogue monicker, judging by NPC rogues in previous TES games.

Gretel Grimsdottir is a Nord Nightblade whom I hope to eventually turn into a werewolf. Gretel from Hans-and-Gretel, obviously, and Grimsdottir sounds like "Grim's Daughter" and I originally picked it up from the Splinter Cell character of that name. Tall muscled Nord with braided hair (until she gets her fur).

Moonblossom is my Bosmer archer (templar). For a while she was going to be a Nightblade, but I already have a few, and not many Templars, and I figured Templar would work better with archer and the whole nature-healing aspect fit her concept and I can sort of roleplaying fudge that she's actually using MOON-light powers, not SUN-light. Considering their affiliation with all stuff "moon", this could have been a Khajiit name but at the time I wanted a Bosmer and they DO deal with plants and such.

Twixt is my Imperial (Daggerfall Covenant) sorcerer. She's got the twin stubby pigtails in her white hair and "crying" black eye makeup. Her name derives from "Twixt a rock and a hard place"... she's BETWEEN alliances (as an Imperial)... and also BETWEEN good and evil --- she's my power-hungry pragmatist character who chooses the Dark options we sometimes face.

Braxzana D'Vex is my dark elf dragonknight (my ONLY dragonknight) who ~might~ become a vampire later on. Nearly-white skin (since they did not have a blue tint I liked) with white hair in a severe bun and black eyes. I've used this name since EQ-1 back in the day (derived from the name of a race of people in a sci-fi book whose name and author I forget). The last name fits more with the EQ-1 dark elf naming style than ESO but it's the name I'm used to.

Dances-In-Pale-Moonlight is my Khajiit sorcerer. Yes, it's an Argonian name --- she was raised by Argonian slaves as the only Khajiit child on the slave ship. The name describes a favorite activity of hers, but in a meta sense, it references the original Batman movie where the Joker asks his victims, "Do you dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?" She DOES dance with devils --- daedra pets --- in the moonlight. ;) She has the pointed lynx-like ears and dark coloration.

Blackstone The Elder is my only male character, an ancient, severely-scarred, eye-patch wearing, stubble-headed Nord Templar. Not terribly fond of the name, but couldn't really settle on one (he's a bank mule at this point anyway). I just knew the LOOK and class / weapon I wanted him to have...

Strangely enough it does mean Grim's Daughter in English. Dottir is the Norse meaning for daughter while Sson is for son.

I was trying to think of a name for a roleplay character on Neverwinter Nights 2 some time back. An enchantress. I've always liked the idea of using charm and magic to coerce enemies to their doom, instead of slamming an axe into their head. Maybe because I'm pretty abrasive myself, it's fun to roleplay somebody who is more eloquent and charming. :P

So anyway, sirens are a favorite mythological creature for me. The name Sarenia just hit me as very appropriate for a "siren" type character. And it stuck with me ever since.

I used the same name for an Imperial sorceress on ESO. Sadly there's no enchantment magic like in single player TES games though, so no charming magic for me!

I wish I could remember my exact name. I just started playing and it's something along the lines of Khas'Ken Jaguarius.

Khajitt who looks like a jaguar.
  • wightlight
Plays-With-Tail, Argonian Templar. Just wanted a silly name that reflects my playstyle of wandering around aimlessly exploring instead of doing what I'm supposed to be doing (saving the world? nah). May have a tail/posterior fetish.

Wight Light, Dunmer Sorcerer. Named after my gamertag of many years. Dark skinned with bright white eyes. Old, gaunt, horribly scarred and disfigured, may possibly just be a reanimated corpse. Haven't played him yet so I'm not sure exactly what his purpose in the world is.

I can only afford the time to one character-

Aydinn, Female High Elf Sorcerer. It is a variant of Aidan, which is a gaelic for "fire."

I WANTED to make a character named Felgod, Fel meannig "Half." It wasn't meant to be presumptuously blasphemous or offensive. Just a clever way of saying my character is named Half-god or Demi-god, which is usually a synonym for "Hero."
    EP Sorc: Aydinn
    AD Stamplar: Verdant`Knight
    DC Stamblade: Apple`Punch

Methuselah Honeysuckle - Breton Templar Mage, because I watch Psych and thought Methuselah Honeysuckle sounds like an epic name for a healer.

Adria Ebonwing - Bosmer Nightblade Assassin. Before the game went live there was debate as to the name character limit, and sources indicated my previous name was too long, so I chose Ebonwing as an alternate surname, that I used for this character. Adria from Stargate SG-1.

I've also got a character with just the name Orisi, because it's my standard name online and I wanted to keep it available incase I decide I want a proper alt.

Laehl Direthorn : Because Bow/DW Bosmer Nightblade needs a name that's vauguely forest-y and menacing. Laehl because that's a name of my WoW Druid and I love it.

Brunhilda Icehammer : Because Nord and Ice and Hammer. Duh. Brunhilda was one of the Valkyrie and nothing says big, blonde bad-a** *** like being named after a Warrior Demi-Goddess

R'za gra-Zun : Orc. Female. You gotta prollum with Orsimer?

Noemi Snowpaw : Because Noemi's a pretty name and what else would you call a Khajit that prefers the cold snows to warm sands?

Aziri Magda'sang : Dunmer 'Warlock / Bloodmage'... because Magda Sang is roughly 'blood fiend' in about half a dozen different languages all cobbled together.

Brunhilda Icehammer - Nord Dragonknight, 'Smith & Enchantress 'What is 'ranged? I need to hit something!!'
Laehl Direthorn - Bosmer Nightblade, Purveyor of fine Clothes, Bows and Staves
Reeza gra-Zuni - Orc Templar 'War Shaman' and Apothecary
Noemi Snowpaw - Kajiit Dragon Knight - I laugh... or I'd have to kill you.
Kitera Dreamon - Breton of The Dominion: Because those Daggers don't appreciate a great Mage.
Lysara Shadowcroft - Dunmer Bloodmage: This will only hurt a lot.

    Let's see..

My Nord Nightblade is "Jonathan Blackwolfe". I've used the nick Blackwolf online for 20 years and only added an e when it was already taken on my server in wow. This time around both were taken, so I added Jonathan infront of it.

My Breton Templar is called Madam Mattant, because she is my provisioner alt. What a "mattant" is.. well.. lunchlady in swedish. She is also fat (I took all the sliders to the max basically), old and wrinkly. :P

My Bosmer Dragonknight is called Celaine, just a name I made up back in wow for my warrior.

My Khajit Sorcerer is called Joosha. Dunno, I just looked up Khajit names.

Aella Ren, Altmer mage, been using this since I was 13 and playing Diablo haha. Means Whirlwind Water lily i think cuz I though that was so awesome when I was younger lol. Can you tell how cool I was? But it's stuck with me ever since and It's become my main username for most games.

Jedrek (often taken so i use multiple versions of it), Khajiit DK. Another name I like to frequently use for the few male characters I make. I think it's strong or warrior in celtic or maybe polish idk.

Female Wood Elf- Pkay, why? I don't know, because generally in games I love to Player Kill, so, it sounded fitting, or at least at the time. Something about open world PvP appeals to me, it's probably the surprise, and always having to watch your back, it's why I favored games like Lineage 1/2 so much, never know when someone is going to turn on you, although, if you watch em long enough, you can tell the other player is tempted.

My Male Imperial- Humor, because I've used this username ever since Tribes 1 on PS2, I'd like to think I'm an amusing person, but meh, not for me to judge, generally getting to make people chuckle and such makes me feel a little good inside. Of course, everyone has their dark reasons for doing things.

Also, when it comes to usernames in general, I just could care less, and stick with what took me forever to come up with. Not a very creative guy when it comes to usernames, however, I'd rather not use a randomly generated name when given the opportunity to, that shows no creativeness at all.
