Healing as a sorcerer.... any sources?

Just been scrolling through the forums and really have not found anything concrete on healing as a sorcerer, though it has been stated it can be done and be done strongly. Anyone that has a good source please feel free to post it for everyone's viewing. Thanks!

I run a Templar with full plate, templar heals and a resto staff (for the heals). I'm rather sure, with already wearing light armor and gaining the bonus' for magicka, you'll be just fine if you equipped a restoration staff and started healing.

Figured as much so. From what I have read I do know that Surge and Dark Conversion play a huge role in healing as a sorcerer (Surge affects the heals for the resto staff). Thanks for the input!

Surge increases your weapon damage and the strength of resto staff skills is based on your weapon damage. Also Critical Surge + Inner Light keeps you alive when questing solo.

I just played my first dungeon as a sorc healer the other day and I only used Mutagen (HoT). Only one guy kept dying because he would pull 10+ mobs and excepted me to keep him alive but that was impossible (even if I kept spamming Mutagen). So it's very viable to heal as a sorc, just make sure you have enough Magicka and everyone keeps an eye on their health bar.

I'm leveling the resto staff to try out Force Siphon, hope that will be good.
