Good luck on keeping console players happy.

I have read quite a few posts that seem to think that the ESO UI was designed with console players in mind. Well, it may very well seem that way but in fact it wasn't. It was like that a long time before the game was announced to be coming to consoles.

This did however make me think what is going to happen when it actually is on console. Now, I have played ESO from the beginning using a controller. And, as far as combat is concerned it works just fine. Admittedly I play as a ranged character so I can just tab target something and single target spells don't have to be precisely aimed, Not sure how good melee would be.

However I can see one thing that will drive any console player to compete distraction and that will be anything to do with the bank. It's bad enough that people have to have alts to store mats for crafting and have to play the bank shuffling mini game. But at least we have a mouse to click on items. I just cannot imagine how this is going to work using a controller.

If ZOS think that they are going to get of console sales then I think they might be in for a nasty surprise. Oblivion for example was a nightmare on the Xbox with its pitiful numbert of items on screen at once in the inventory list. In ESO I just don't think that console users will bother with crafting at all.
Yeah, I got a PC. I just don't feel the need to post it's specifications for an ego boost.
