WTB General dissucion area.

How do you make forums with out this area? blows my mind how any one could give these people money to make half assed forums. I really don't want to see all the different language forums just show me the NA forums and hide the rest.

I can't imagine a forum labeled "General Discussion" would be any more useful than this one you're posting in (well, less so because there's no excuse of trying to help other players out in it).

I know! I hate that people speak different languages! And when people force me to actually see writing in those other languages, it just makes me furious!

This forum has become the de facto "General Discussion" forum, which is probably a good thing, because most General forums become cesspools of trolls and bad discussion threads within a matter of days.

P.S. You know that Canada is in North America, right? And that a lot of them speak French?

Actually, yes it would if other forums are a guide, and as long as moderation was done as a AID to posters and not simply as a STICK to hit them with.

Helping other players is really not a good area for general conversation about the game. If i was a new played i would be right to this area expecting experienced players to give me feed back. yet i come here and its *** central and almost no helping other players.

I always just post from recent discussions. I always have a hard time knowing if someone quotes me or answers back on my posts. It's certainly a different forum setup but I'm getting kinda used to it I guess.

Yea I guess if you consider General Discussion to be a trashcan, then I can see the purpose :P

Sadly yes Canada is part of NA Blame Canada for all the problem with the forums (kidding guys)

Moderation is supposed to be a giant stick, because it shows players that if they don't follow the rules that they'll get hit with the giant stick. It's much more effective than someone calmly explaining the Code of Conduct (seriously, see how people react to that).

i have only seen mods comment on 2 threads. there is little to no help from them i would love to see more interaction between Devs/mods and the players. Much like Marvel Heroes forums. but hell you cant have every thing.

Check your developer tracker. There are a lot more comments than that. They've been extremely open, but try to remember that it isn't their job. Their job is to make and maintain the game.

But that said, a moderator will send you a personal message if one of your posts has to be moderated. Which seems to be a much better course than hoping someone will go back to a thread and read the post explaining what they did.
