What are the Pro and Contra of those two classes?

I think "Dark Exchange " and "Mending" are very pro class skills, but what class is better for solo play? or self healing or damage.

I suggest you go Templar because it rocks in so many ways.

Templar heals are very magicka intensive.
You also don't need to be a templar to heal yourself, anyone could stick weap-swap restoration staff to heal.
Templar does have the most powerful aoe heals and a strong single target magicka-returning heal.
You could go a cloth caster templar to have plenty of magicka.

Sorcerer can use a resto staff and heal their own pets with it.
With a high crit sorcerer build one could heal themselves with Critical Surge for it heals for up to 65% of crit dmg
Dark Exchange requires you to stand there and channel it.
You could go Heavy armor sorcerer and have a bit more survivability.

Any class can also go vampire and have health-draining skills that will keep you up as good as any healing spell so long as your target is not immune to CC.
The trouble would be getting vampire in the first place, you'd have to be on average lvl 20-ish to be able to handle the quest, you will also permanently take +50% more fire dmg and be vulnerable to the entire fighters guild skill tree in pvp. Also, sith-face.

    Sorcerer PRO
    Extremely high Execute dmg
    Pets (if you like that)
    A blink
Excellent AOE and of course dark regen.
    Very mobily and slipery
Probably 1 of the best bow users.

    Cons
Not a lot of close range skills naturally
Full casters can be very squishy

    Templars
    Pros
    Healing without healstaff
    Extra crit on heals
    Very high single target dmg.
    Spear abilities are very effective.
    A mana based charged.

    Cons,
    Less mobile
    Squishy

But every class can do basically everything :)
You can even go a dk pyromancer if your interested in casters.

As a templar I would say go with templar :P especially if you go with a bow, its an awesome combo!

However, I DO want to try a sorcerer next, definitely on my to-do list!

For healing, my choice will always be templar. I dunno if you can ever be an effective healer (like master dungeon effective, not to mention craglorn effective too) with only resto staff skills. But I'm still trying it out with my sorcerer.

I'd say sorc pro's are high dps, it has seemed easier leveling than on my templar. The pet also makes things easier on the sorc. I have been suffering with my templar with some boss fights (like Doshia) and also pretty much all of my main story quests. But fights like Doshia was easy piecy with my sorc together with the storm atronach ultimate which I'm absolutely in love with <3:D

    Kaia Linnea - templar
    Ruusu - sorcerer
