Doshia's Lair in Glenumbra

ledalcub17_ESO
I played the game in Audiron and Doshia's Lair was different there. I could see the bubbles I'm supposed to hit. But in Glenumbra it looks totally different. I don't know if they changed it for all locations or if the city you're in matters. There is not the big Altar Room only a little warehouse looking room and there are no bubbles, only little floaty snowflake like things spiraling around her. Does anyone know what I'm supposed to aim at to keep her from gaining health?

I have the same question. No bubbles to hit. As a level 14 templar, she was just wiping the floor with me.

The size of the room determines movement speed and how near the bubbles spawn. Unfortunately, for 'Harvester' type creatures like Doshia, this means in tiny rooms, they're practically immortal.

Short version? Level up to crush her with DPS, or move her to a larger room to fight her. (from what I've seen)

I killed her fine at 10. Took a little while, but got her first try.

I never did kill off all of the bubbles that came to her, but as long as I killed off two (usually the ones that came from the left or right), I wittled her down to dead.

Don't give up, try again! Or level a bit too, that might help. I was using my resto staff for the healing, if that's helpful.
    Currently Playing:
Sorcerer Claudia Warren May, lvl 40. Woodworking 25/Clothing 25/Provisioning 50.
    Dragon Knight, lvl 8. Blacksmithing/Enchanting.
    Nightblade, lvl 3. Alchemy.
    Templar, lvl 7.

Watch Hawke's player guide on it here at the forums, he added the Glenumbra one. And sometimes you can't see the bubbles. Try to move her from her spot, or take her down before she changes

Thanks for all your comments and help.

I'll try to watch Hawke's player guide if I can find it. I tried again last night, I'm level 17 Templar... I almost had her when she backed into a wall and got stuck! Then all I had was the place marker arrow but no Doshia... are you kidding me!!! I did manage to see bubbles when I moved to a different spot. I abandoned the quest so maybe this time I can kill her before she changes. I was able to do that in Audiron so fingers crossed it doesn't bug out on me again.

I just wish they didn't nerf this boss, it is the worst solution they could possibly come up with because it is the easiest way to cater to the whiners.

Instead they should just open these quests up to group play that way if a player is having problems they can invite some friends or some other random players that may be hanging around the lair's entrance because they got steam rolled too and that leaves the boss still a challenge for those that want that....

All quests in an MMO should accommodate group play, its an MMO for god sakes so why have forced single player content? Its ridiculous to say the least and defeats the entire purpose of a Massive Multiplayer Online Game....

I totally agree that this quest is not level appropriate and I also agree that as this is not a single player game you should be able to group to do it.

I also have had the invisible orb bug while fighting her. The only real advice I can give after finally killing her on all my melee toons is to log out if you are *** the fight and the bubbles remain invisible. In that tiny room she's almost impossible to kill otherwise because if you can't kill the bubbles she'll keep healing.

Odd, I crushed her in Glennumbra in probably 15 - 20 seconds top. After the last time I fought her I was all set for an epic battle and before I could even see what was going on I had killed her.

I found that area attacks worked well to take out the bubbles whether I could see where they were or not. First 2 times I fought her I didn't figure that out and got stomped. Third time it was a cake walk - and this was before the patch that nerfed her.
