via any of the mages guilds, there is a portal you can take

That's what I thought but mine must be glitched then because no portals in any of the mages Guilds.

I'm curious to as whether or not this is possible aswell. I have no Wayshrine on my map, though when I click where Eyevea was it says "Eyevea".

Yes, go to any Mages Guild, should be a ball of light, that is the portal to Eyevea.

I had to look this up too, I got my wayshrine when I was there, but it vanished again from my map.
