Gaining Ult as a Templar?

What's the best skill line and rotation to build ultimate quickly? I'd like to power level my werewolf so I can bite friends but the 1000 ultimate is just crazy! Thanks!

I have a lot of success with the Dawns Rath skill line, put a couple points into Prism, and morphing Sun Light into Reflective Light and then spamming those fireballs on groups of enemies.

I'm not exactly sure if hitting multiple enemies multiplies your ultimate gain, but it sure helps in killing groups. I hit them with the fireballs until they are in range for the Aedric Spear's Puncturing Strikes ability morphed into Biting Jabs, which increases critical on low health enemies. It works good as a finisher to follow up the fireballs.

I use the Nova Ultimate.

Whatever you do, do not use the Restoring Light ultimate. That one is just terrible. Not only does it have some of the longest cooldowns in the game but it also is highly situational.

It costs a lot and you have to either use 100 regular attacks or 10 abilities to charge it up. And even then, it might be useless to use since it does not prevent certain things. The only good thing about it is the AoE effect for group play but you can even replace it with the first healing spell morph.

For example, if you have low enough health (>10%), you will most likely die from the damage done to you, even with the passives you can take. Also two handed heavy warriors are able to knock you down, which can mean that you just used ultimate for 1 of the 6-8 seconds and gained roughly 30-250ish HP based on your mana from it.

I find the Sweeping Strikes skill in Aedric Spear tree to be very effective at building ultimate. I haven't done any kind of comparisons though with any other skills, it's just an observation I've made.
