provisioning merchant

im pretty sure i saw a merchant selling ingredients for food
but at the time i couldnt really afford to buy
now i can and would be willing to pay the 21 gold for 1 ingredient
but i cant for the life of me find a merchant selling them
anyone able to help?

It's the merchants called "Grocers". Can't say I've ever seen a chef or brewer sell ingredients though, only the final products...

Don't waste gold on Provisioning mats lol...just loot all the barrels, crates, jars, and backpacks you come across. I never bought a single ingredient I mastered Provisioning with ease.

problem is if your a vet1 or up u cant loot vet provisioning mats from them there must or is a bug where if ur in a vet zone the cooking mats dont scale to veteran content out of the crates/barrels ect, so u have to find a grocer that sells these ingredients at 64 g a piece wich is not well done, and i hope the devs take notise of this problem because i would like some buff food my self

I understand than if we're talking about once you hit Veteran content, but before that it isn't necessary to purchase prov. mats.

I am pretty annoyed that the looted prov. mats don't scale in veteran content and neither do recipes. It's pretty lame how I looted V5 recipes in earlier areas on my way to 50...but now that I am V2 I find nothing lol? How does that make a lick of sense...

Found one in the Screaming Mermaid in Port Hunding. The grocer is an Orc named Lagarg.

For gobs of free Provisioning material go to the docks of any zone and loot the crates and barrels.

Ebonheart Pact: Black-Silk-Earth in Davon’s Watch, Stonefalls. She’s at the northern part of the Market District.

Aldmeri Dominion: Samardan in Vulkhel Guard, Auridon. He’s near the docks by the merchant stall.

Daggerfall Covenant: Jafrost Cold-Eye in Betnikh. She’s at the Dockside Trading Stalls

Right now I really need mutton flank and ...I can't remember the other ingredient dammit... LOL the stuff to make Breton Stew. I'm Daggerfall Covenant and I swear I find everything under the sun EXCEPT these 2 items! Any tips would be appreciated!

You'll only find Mutton Flank and Flank Steak in crates/barrels/sacks or for purchase in guild stores. I've yet to see it sold at a grocer's.

By the way, I think Breton Stew consists of Flank Steak and Stock, not Mutton Flank.
