Stacking training trait on armor pieces

I'm just wondering if the training trait on armor stacks with multiple pieces, or if they overwrite each other. If I'm wearing 7 pieces of heavy armor with +5% armor skill experience, am leveling my heavy armor skill 35% faster?

I would like to say yes.

I have 2 parts that's protection from crit 70's, but cant find anywhere in game that gives my defense value for that stat.
