The idea is simplicity and build around Bow...5 Leather and 2 either heavy or light.

Flawless Dawnbreaker: +13% weapon dmg passive
Igneous Weapons: Increase weapon dmg for all

    go light instead of heavy to help the mana pool from the 2nd bar.

    I'm sooo happy to see this post. Your build is extremely similar to what I've been playing (and what I want to be when I get to cap). Although I questioned myself on using a double bow build, seeing this makes my vision feel viable. I could not decide on light or heavy either, but in a group setting with heals, having two light would be very beneficial as Dagus said for the mana pool.

    Do you get the passive bonus if you're using the other weapon? I wouldn't think so, but it would be nice :)

    I have no idea :) I also have question that will most likely be answered as I level:

    -Heavy armor can be felt almost instantly questing..5 leather then 2 light or 2 armor I can see and feel the difference...Can gear for mana regen if needed!

    Stat wise right now I am 1/1/3 not sure if that is wise...

    VR content as weapon damage scales and class skills don't -is this accurate- I expect this build to start taking off then?

    My worry is in VR content the videos show point blank AoE which this build lacks...but root+AoE spam should be doable if geared right?

    I think root+aoe spam is very doable with this build. I love using burning talons, stepping back and unloading bombard on the crowd. How do you like scorched earth? If you can't step back and everyone has to be huddled, remember burning talons has a synergy for others to do more damage....I love it. Not sure if you believe in using recount, but burning talons shines for overall dmg done on aoe. Maybe its the initial physical damage it deals? Does that damage increase as our stamina increases? I would think so.

    I like your choice in 1/1/3 for stats (more stamina is always nice). I think I'm closer to 1/2/3 but I'll probably change it later.

    I haven't put any points into magnum shot yet, but I think it would be fun to use burning talons, magnum shot to get some distance, then scorched earth or bombard with aoe pulls.

    I've found some trouble with the passive ability, long shots, that does more dmg if your further away. I haven't grouped much, but I do plan to. When I did do a few dungeons and tried to stand further away, I would always get called back in by the healer. I have no idea how heals work or the range on them. I guess I just thought healers would stay back with the other ranged....maybe they can't reach the tank if they are with archers/mages?

    I'm overlooking something, what does VR stand for? sorry

    VR= veteran rank. Some healing abilities are aurora like and others are cone like from the healer which have various ranges hence why the healer might want you closer.

    What do others think about how this build is going to perform in VR 1-10? The idea is chain root/snare mobs in AoE and with 1 heal slotted and an Ultimate that caps damage at 3% of HP...enough?
