There are no plans to introduce duelling at the moment. Personally I couldn't care less, but I see no problem if they did as long as there's an option to auto-decline all the kiddies spamming duel requests in town.

There are a lot of dog-in-the-manger types who don't want to duel and don't want anyone else to do it either.
