Why is Sheogorath's voice different?

They had someone who sounded way better for Sheogorath in Oblivion and Skyrim. What happened to him?

No clue why it was changed, but I don't particularly have any problems with it. I kind of like how lighter pitched it got.

Adeona✭I was disappointed too when I heard the new Sheogorath. From what I understand the voice actor that played Sheogorath in Oblivion and Skyrim, Wes Johnson, wanted to voice the character again for ESO but they never asked him. ✭✭✭✭✭Well, the Sheogorath in ESO is actually a different Sheogorath from the one in Skyrim, as that Sheogorath was actually the player from Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion. I suppose the real question should be why Skyrim and Oblivion both had the same voice actor for Sheogorath...

Ranique✭✭✭✭why does a voice change?
There are two main reasons. The first is money. It happens that a voice actor rises in fame and get's too expensive. The second is cause the actor doesn't want to do it anymore or was unavailable.
As sheogorath is an important role, and also cause ESO invested a lot on big names, and also cause Wes didn't get huge fame, it is unlikely it was a money issues.
The new actor is JB Blanc (according to the IMDB)
I think overall we got spoiled big time when it comes to voice actors. The glass can be half full or half empty. I advice to concentrate on the good things in voice acting. I personally love this sheogorath more. but thats subjective. if you don't, all you can do is live with it and count your blessings..Through me you pass into the city of woe:
