Probably leeched off friends by grouping with high levels who did the work.

It is possible with a bow and knockbacks.

If you can keep each of those 10 npc's from hitting you the entire time, then yes.

It can 100% be done at level 18 with a bow.
That is when i did mine.

I did it at lvl 21 but it is perfectly doable even lower level.
How I did it was like this:

Place at least 1 DoT ability on your hotbar. Soul Trap works perfect.
If you have more than one, all the better.

Now, cast a DoT on the NPC near the camp fire at the left side of the room. Run up the stairs. The NPC comes chasing you but you jump down just when he's about to reach you.
Now the NPC will have to run the stairs back down while your DoT(s) are eating him alive. When you see the NPC down at the bottom, reapply your DoT(s) and run back up the stairs. And jump down again when the NPC is about to reach you.

Rinse and repeat until the NPC dies.
Now you are free to take the NPC all the way up the stairs. Kill that one the same way.

These 2 NPC's will respawn after some time so you do not need to go out of that room to kill any of the others.
Remember to keep some healing potions at hand in case the NPC's manage to hit you while you're kiting them.

When you've killed 10 of them, just let them kill you and choose to respawn at the wayshrine. You can hand in the quest right there.

Congratulations, you are now a Vampire.

search forum for vampire guide and watch video for ideas, bow and knock backs are a good idea. It's a solo instance so no grouping.

I wish they'd get rid of the 'quest to become a vampire'. I wish it was implemented more like in other ES games. When fighting Vampires you have a small chance to get the disease.

If you don't cure it quickly you become a Vamp, if you do then no worries.

Also players should be able to infect anyone they wish as many times as they wish. More like a plague, like vampirism should be. If you are carrying Garlic with you then vampires cannot get near enough to bite you (stops griefers).

Then introduce a Vampire/warewolf Hunters guild or something that can be joined and has bonuses against Vampires/warewolfs. Would make for some great PvP RP in Cyrodil.

EDIT: Sorry, not intending to derail your discussion. But seems other's have answered your question anyway :)

Who has time? But if we never take time how can we ever have time?

And how would that work if a vamp parked himself in the city gateway or in front of a bank? Or for that matter, how would they ever be able to use a bank since there would be bound to be at least one player with garlic in their pockets?

Plus, doing anything against another player's will calls for PvP. If they can bite at will, we should be able to kill them at will, anywhere.

It's called Fighters Guild, you should check it out. ;)

The fighters guild should be, well a fighters guild not a vampire/hunting guild similar to Dawns Guard. But then maybe that's a lore thing I don't know.

I think I wasn't clear in my explanation. I don't mean vampires physically wouldn't be able to go near people carrying garlic, I just mean they wouldn't have an option to byte them.

And yes, obviously keep it to PvP area of Cyrodil, not in every town and city.

Moreover, Vampires shouldn't be able to enter cities at stage 4 of vampairism anyway, NPC's should chase them out. Once a vampire you should have to join a clan and access your stuff in the bank or what ever from there. But hey it's an MMO so I guess it's too much work for the dev's to do it like in other ES games.

I'm new to game and have the "bite timer" clicking down. I am about to hit level 15 with a Dark Elf NB. I believe this is one of the level 12s on Youtube:

I like the comment above on the Soul Trap DoT! Video shows Dark cloak & bow with stairs ... I guess DoT/Bow & stairs?

Will give it a try and report back ...

Edit: Different level 12 than I thought. This one is a Templar doing it.

Vampire Quest can be finished at lvl 3... Only one free skill ability is needed to take down those first 2 mobs ---> Soul Trap.

How do I know this? I have done it ^_-
