So, out of curiosity, what is the least played race that you see?

The least played races I see are Redguard, Nord, and surprisingly, high elves.
Redguard/Nords I believe are seen so infrequently because a lot of players who would have those races do not want to be stuck with a magic-class.

High elves, I believe, are so few because of the hatred people have for them if Skyrim was their introduction to the ES world.

Just my observations and opinion. What about you all? What are YOUR least seen races?

Redguards.

I play one and don't see too many others running around compared to other races.

I'm fairly surprised with the amount of Khajiit's and Argonians I see. I didn't think they would be as popular as they are.

Although the most I see are Imperials. Feels like Oblivion sometimes.

Clearly you dont play AD in the NA server OP , i see high elves all around me , but i will agree with the redguards , almost never i see one these.

I can't tell the races apart at a distance unless they have tails. If there's a pile of people somewhere there's no way I could give you a racial breakdown, except for how many Khajiit and Argonians are there, short of looking carefully at everyone's face.

This is one of my primary complaints about the player races -- they are TOO similar.

Nox, I have chars in each faction.

Mishoniko, the only races that are similar are breton and imperials. Although I guess if you made a really short nord or pale redguard, they'd look like Brets and Imps, too lol.

But come on, the races are too similar? Orcs, Khajiit, Dunmer, altmer, bosmer, large nords, and Argonian are nothing alike

My objection was more for player characters in the world and not NPCs. I enjoy what you can build in character creation, but once the character is off and questing then your hard work is promptly covered up by that spiffy armor.

Since qualities like physique are completely adjustable by the player, and have a wide range of options, you can't depend on silhouette for identification. I might learn to narrow the choices by height range but there is a lot of overlap, and that is controllable by the player too.

Compare to MMOs with more diverse races where you can identify someone at 200 yards even when they are in full plate and not a speck of color is showing.

I play a Redguard, but yes not many others do so. I find that a bit strange, for me that race is a lot of fun and suits perfectly for my RP story.

This obviously depends on the faction. I'm not sure what race is least represented, but I see more Khajiits than I was expecting. Perhaps not too many Nords, but I haven't played through the EP much yet.

Redguards and Orcs. I don't see that many Argonians either.
