First 10 skill points.... Opinions?

Starting a build of a NB Sneaky Archer with Stamina focus. Where would be the best place to start adding points for the first 10 levels?

Not sure about all ten but, I like to fill my hot bar with the first five if at all possible. Spread those across as many trees as possible to start getting xp in multiple lines and pushing skills toward morphing points. You'll have the obvious three class skill lines starting active ability and probably a weapon active ability you can slot before too long.

The fifth slot you can fill with an alternate weapon active slot once you use one enough. You'll still get xp with that second weapon once it's slotted whether you use it or not. Alternately, you can head to the Fighters Guild and load the fifth slot with the first active ability in their line: Silver Bolt. That's a nice one to have anyway against undead and daedra.

Basically what the person above said. First five: class skills, two weapons of your choice. Then an ultimate as soon as you can and Silver Bolts. Put the rest wherever. I'd get Teleport Strike early, gap closers are useful.

sounds good thanks for the info.
Possibly a stupid question but, in the beginning of the game where you choose a weapon and clear jail, for some reason there is no bow unless i do not see it? i do not want to start running through this jail without the weapon i want to start using? any ideas?

The Wailing Prison is a rather short run if you didn't grab the bow from the table; I wouldn't fret over it. Even if you don't find any in the chests, you'll get Sentinel's Lash (a bow) and a piece of chest-slot armor in the mail shortly after arriving on Tamriel.

And aside from that, just hunt around for ten or twenty maple logs and head for a Woodcrafting station. You can quickly craft a slightly higher level bow.

fair enough i guess, there actually is no bow on the table. just feel i could level up a couple levels with bow in prison rather than using a one handed sword which i will never use again. what can you do i guess....

Trust me, that is a can of worms best left unopened. Suffice to say you are not the only one who feels that way.

Remember to pay attention to your armor and racial passives as well. Once you get your bar filled, you'll have plenty of passives to pick from, I highly recommend the Medium Armor skills for sneaks!

    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

Also you'll likely have more than 10 skill points by level 10.

One option is complete the Wailing Prison using any character and any weapon, then create your Archer and choose to skip the intro. When you begin at the first town with your archer, you should be given an item by the Prophet that contains a bow and chest piece.

Like everyone here has suggested, when I started my NB, I put my first 3 points into the 3 class lines. The next 2 went into Duel Wield and Bow. All 5 of these actives went into my action bar for leveling.

That was ~ level 4, after picking up skyshards in the starter zone. From there, you really need to decide what you want your character to be able to do while leveling and use points accordingly.

The other key thing is to wear several types of armor ASAP to get them leveling up. That way, at higher skill levels, you can decide to place skill points into the passives that interest you.
