Cyrodiil Dungeons

So what genius thought it was a good idea to not have any rez shrines in the Cyrodiil dungeons? "Oh I'm sorry, did you die trying to get that sky shard? Back to the base camp a half hour run away with you!"

Don't make them useable if you die from PvP, that's fine, but if an npc kills you anywhere it's *** that you get sent back to the starting area.

Agreed. At the very least they could put you back to the dungeon entrance like all other dungeons.

i know i was trying to do some but its impossible cause of that. Besides that why mobs are not VR1

I kind of like it. It makes the zone actually challenging.

And dont forget the fact that NPC's are guarding forts and resource points so how do you make the difference between killed by an random imperial camp in the wild and killed by an NPC`s defending a fort.

You might be asking for a lot when the most important thing is to keep it balanced.

The NPCs inside the dungeons aren't guarding anything aside from the dungeons. There's NO PvP value to them whatsoever so why not put one of the little rez shrine things inside?

You enter a dungeon go in a little, notice another player from another faction. He kills you easily and you respawn at the beginning of the dungeon. He rushes to you and kills you again, you respawn exactly at the same place. He then proceed to farm until you log off and come complain on the forums that respawning in those dungeons is an bad design.

Yeah... that´s "not productive".
Imagine beeing killed by me in such a dungeon... what do you think would happen?
You spawn inside that dungeon while I am still there and I know the spawnpoint...

If you kill me I will be back like 60 seconds later.
Endless spawnganking... yeah that´s fun. NOT!

You dislike PvP stay in your comfort zone pls.

No, if a player kills you inside a dungeon you can respawn at any PvP rez site your faction controls. That's already the way it works. I'm talking about making them strictly PvE rez shrines. They can obviously do that since they have strictly PvP rez ones.

I love that fact about the Cyrodiil dungeons. This place is the only one where dying actually has any real effect at all.

I had one of the most fun times walking all the way from the home base to the base of another faction. I picked up a scounting mission and sneaked my way to this place and then moved on near the front gate of the enemies base where I found a dungeon. Well I died there a horrible death but the most fun part was the way there.
I'm not even lvl 20 yet so if anybody finds me or I pull aggro from anything, I die and have to walk all the way again. As boring as it might sounds, I had a wonderful, fun and intense hour of sneaking through Cyrodiil

Just drop a forward camp near the dungeon? (well if they actually fixed those)

At least there is some npc to defend you while you flee if someone is waiting for you,

What do you mean by this? How are the rez shrines in Cyrodiil strictly PvP? If you die at all in Cyrodiil you rez there so how does that make them strictly PvP?

If a mob (as in an NPC) (AS IN NOT A *** PLAYER) kills you ANYWHERE in Cyrodill, you rez BACK at the WAYSHRINE in your HOME BASE. You do NOT have the option to rez at any forward camps, any keeps, any bases etc.
You ONLY have the option to rez at a keep or something similar if you died due to PvP action.

I'm pretty sure it used to work that way. Can't remember for certain, but I think early in the Beta there were PvE Rez shrines at the beginning of the dungeons.

Obviously if a player kills you you should have to spawn back at camp.

But the game can already distinguish between PvP deaths and PvE deaths.

Exactly, I don't understand why they don't have the strictly PvE shrines in the dungeons. There would be no possibility of exploiting them as any PvP kill would warp you out of the dungeon to the nearest PvP rez site. It's as if they wanted to force people into a time sink for hours worth of running through the laggiest PoS zone ever implemented in a game.

Well the only thing that bugs me here is having a PVE spawn point (wayshrine), all combat should be considered PVP in Cyrodiil so if you die you can respawn at any controlled point or forward camp… This part should absolutely be fixed

But respawning in the middle of an enemy controlled area does not make any sense for a PVP contested zone just because you were trying to farm in a dungeon.

Don't people find it boring to hang out in a dungeon waiting for an enemy player to come along? You might be waiting a long time for one to stroll by. There are far better places to hide like a coward and try to gank instead of facing your enemies honorably on the battlefield.

If you get killed by mobs inside a cyrodiil dungeon, you can ressurrect yourself with soul gems. At least it works at veteran levels with grand gems. However if a player was part of your death, you cannot.
