I'm kinda lost as far as gaming laptops go... I'm looking to be able to run ESO on ultra or high settings, at the very least i would want to be abe to play on medium. i have a VAIO right now but my wife needs a new laptop and its having some issues loading everything up even at medium settings. Suggestions are highly appreciated. I'm in the marines so getting a desktop isn't really prefered but if I ABSOLUTELY HAVE to then I will get a desktop I would definately want to be able to use an HDMI cord to connect to my tv if that were the case though.
I'm not looking to spend no more than $1250 really but if I absolutely had to then I would be willing to spend up to $1500 but definately no more than that.

Also I am not against getting an alienware laptop. I simply don't know where to start at all for one or if I can find one reliable under $1500

Most likely all ultra. Since it's really designed for gaming.

I take it this is the one you speak of? I see its big brothers there but I'm definately not looking to spend $2000+ on a laptop right now.
I got a 15% off code for this, is it worth the extra coupe hundred dollars to get? would this be able to run ESO on ultra?

I never use laptops for gaming. I really suggest you start looking at a stationary computer. Mid Tower, not desktop.
Add PvP loot drops for some risk/reward in this game.

Like I said i would really prefer to keep it to a laptop because of my lifestyle. Desktops are hard when you are constantly moving around

Yes that would be one. Also of you check Amazon for Asus g750 you get couple more options. Desktop Geforce GTX 760 should be able to run game with ultra, I have PC that has GTX 670 with i5-3470 which is pretty much even in comparison with 760 and that can run the game ultra. GTX 860m in comparison seems to be better than 760 so it should be able to run ultra.

I have no experience with Alienware, Razer, Dell or MSI. From HP products I only have bad experiences. I have used and have many ASUS products as I've found them good and reliable for the price.

I'd look for a Clevo/Sager laptop. They usually have better performance for the price, the bios is unlocked unlike most branded laptops, and they are more customizable.

Have a look at these: https://www.xoticpc.com/custom-gaming-laptops-notebooks-clevo-sager-notebooks-ct-95_51_162.html

Just make sure it has a 1080p screen, 8gb of ram, an i5 or i7 processor, and the best graphics card you can afford in it (that's not a Quadro).

Also the GTX 860m isn't gonna be near the performance of a GTX 760, since laptop cards are way weaker than desktop cards. The 880m may come close, but it's a lot more expensive.

If you decide to go with Alienware, make sure you call and haggle with them, you can usually get $100-200 dollars off depending on how much you're spending, and maybe some other free stuff, plus I think they give a discount for people in the military on top of that.
