Just gone into cyrodil for the first time, is there any commanders, how can you have co-ordinate battles if you don't know who you're with or following?
From my experience playing DAoC for several years, which had the same pvp system - with time, there will be players who will gain reputation as great leaders for your faction. They will be recognized by name, and people will follow their orders. Just give it some time.
I don't know if you've played GW2 but I mean similar to the commander system in that, there aren't tags over players in eso so it's difficult to follow the leader of the group
If there was most players would likely just /ignore them for being annoying..kinda like how people ignored the commanders in a few of the battlefield games
The commander system there was horribly flawed but it was at least something and it worked well enough once you got to recognise people.
Here, it's a lot more difficult.
I desperately hope that the player base can get something together and combine it with a Teamspeak or Mumble/Vent server. At the moment we're just lost really.

'Clever' sigs get old real fast - just like this one.
Yes, I noticed this in beta. It makes things harder- the leader has to be pretty specific about what he wants done and where he wants people to go. If they say "rally on me", or "go to where Yasha is" etc. the team has no idea of what to do.
GW2 failed miserably at listening to what the players wanted in regard to RvRvR (WvWvW). That's the reason a lot of us are here rather than continuing to play GW2. It remains to be seen if TESO developers take proper notice of genuine feedback and start to give us what we need.
It's understandable that right now the game is a bit 'light' on features. It's pretty well a framework right now. Fingers crossed - we can only hope.

Nah, i played battlefield for years, to a point where i just ran around with a knife 42-6 k/d ratio avg (account: Diffuse/deathadder/FpsRug) and random games as a commander noone listened. Best scenario half would listen and half wouldnt and the orders would fail because of it and people would say it was my fault. Then i joined a clan and i became a battlefield commander god.
