A few question about resist

I am tv lvl 4 veteran when I go into dungeon fire attacks sometimes kills me instantly. I would like to know if I use a fire resist glyph on my armor, would this help my character not die as much.

Here are a few more question, what does fire resist do? Cold resist? Spell resist.

I think the obvious answer is yes, fire resist would help you not die from fire attacks so much. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

As for exactly how resistances work, I think that people are still puzzling that one out. Rule of thumb is that more is better of course, but there's probably a soft cap in there somewhere.

The character sheet is a joke as it is.

It should show more detailed information and far better tooltips.

    Are you a vampire?

But yea, as a tank id love to see what % dmg my spel and armor reduces.
Also since im a dunmer i got 1400 spellresist but got 1100 fire resist added, but there is nowhere to see what that adds with the overcharge. More info on this side would definatly help with enchanting for resists etc.

No, I am not a vampire and I am not interested in becoming one, I am thinking of putting resist into my rings and amulet, but that will decrease my stamina and health regene and this is a big deal because I also happens to be a duel dagger KB!
