Enchanting hireling

The enchanting hireling is ALWAYS sending me potency runes (currently rank 6 runes) of one tier higher than I can use. Do you think this is intended or should I write a bug report about it? Hirelings of other professions always send me useable resources

    Hirelings in general seem to send you stuff that is leveled just at or slightly above the highest level of that skill across *all* of your characters.

    Meaning, if you have a character that is at level 15 for enchanting, they'll drop items between lvl1 and about lvl20 for enchanting.
    Even if you spent the hireling skillpoints on a character that is lvl 1 for enchanting.

    Hope this makes some sense ...

    No it doesnt work this way. The stuff you get is independent from the level of your profession. It only depends on the perks you have. For example in blacksmithing I am always getting dwemer ore because I have the dwemer metal perk. Its like this with all hirelings, just enchanting ALWAYS sends me a rune for one perk above mine.
