Another suggestion. Not sure where it fits best but since it is about the visuals of items I figured maybe the crafting area would be best...

Please add a "dressing room" or preview method to the game. So you can see what something looks like before you equip it or convert to Imperial style. I know a lot of people that really want this feature. Who cares how great the stats are on something if its ugly or clashes with your current gear...even guys will spend time to make their avatar's look cool. Been a few times I converted something to imperial expecting it to look better than default and then been sad that it wasn't.

    I think they said somewhere that this was one of the features that were considered but didn't make it to the release. I hope it is added in the future.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    i hope so. i was trying to use wows hot key to see what stuff looked like on the first day of early access. i still go to try before i remember its not in game.

    A preview is a must. not so much at the start of the game but when start makung vetaran epic and legendary gear and it turns out you don't Like it... gonna break something :p

    Id like to be able to change the appearance of an item after its made or dropped.

    Mixed sets annoy me. I have all the common race motifs. I should be able to restyle my armor to match.

    Tired of my glorious Nord body being shoved into sissy Mer armor.

    I would love this feature. I do believe they had mentioned at one point they were going to add it but did not make it to release. I do hope they add it in the future. I dislike mix matched sets on my girl.
    Video games ......The only legal place to kill stupid people.

    Would be nice to keep the idea up, ZOS could you keep this post alive please and keep the idea in a back pocket or something. Should be fairly simple to script in tbh and a web service would be brilliant to check how set bonuses couple together for example to plan a scenario well.

    However I find this to be invaluable before I make any armors in this game
