templar empowering sweep armor buff?

does anybody know how long the armor buff from hitting each enemy lasts from the ultimate morph on aedric spear? I like this skill for how often I get a free aoe but if the armor lasts 5+ seconds I would consider taking it instead of extra damage.

It lasts 10 seconds from my experience. A good skill personally I prefer to get my armor cap else where. I like the 33% damage morph more.

i think it lasts as long as the enemy you got it from lives
