Looking for some leveling advice.

Currently my main character is a level 42. I have completed 64 of 68 quests in The Rift. The current Rift quest I am working on leads me to the others, but is bugged.
With that I moved on to Coldharbor. There I have done 16 quest, and picked up the quest "Crossing the Chasm". How do I complete this quest at level 42? I have made countless attempts at killing the bosses and can't get through. And with The Rift all but finish it seems I am out of places to level up to get where I need to be.
Any advice on what I can do to get through the Chasm?
