How so? They both are weak VS fighter guild abilities, and both have a 50% weakness to an element. Vampire just has more useful/powerful skills, under most circumstances.1 -

Vamps you have to feed or you get massive debuffs
Poison Abilites < Fire Abilites
All undead buffs/debuffs work on vamps all the time

No, the Werewolf needs to be just as awesome as the Vampire, or else they'll just be Food for the far Superior Undead Overlords.

✭as a healer I am sick and tired of finding groups of 3 vampires. It is a LOT more difficult to heal them on certain bosses. Sometimes they get one shot by fire and LITERALLY wonder why. (must be the healer)

And for those reasons is why you will see alot of people getting cured. Its the flavor of the month right now but will balance out in short order when people get tired of dying so quickly.0 -
Zershar_Vemod✭✭✭✭✭I'm starting to get tired of how no one knows how to use vampirism and automatically say it's a disadvantage to be one.
Learn the class. After I was bitten I've been much better in combat, rarely die, and the fire resist does absolutely nothing to me due to Drain Essence, Mist Form, and Bat Swarm. Or get a fire resist glyph to balance it to.

Viverim✭✭Werewolf is bugged at the moment, from my understanding. I wouldn't want to become a vampire due to the fire weakness as fire is one of THE most common damage types in the game. I mean, like every second or third humanoid mob hits you with some kind of fire.
Now, as a Dragon Knight with points invested in fighter's guild passives, I wouldn't mind facing Vampires in the PvP zone. Fire + bonus damage to Undead for the other passives? I'm okay with that...0 -
People love to say werewolves/vampires will get their asses handed to them in PvP or PvE, not realizing that good players will be good players regardless of the classes they choose, and I'm pretty sure ZoS is going to do some overhauling (they better anyway) with the vampire and werewolf skill trees... so I'mma stick it out as a bug infested wolf for a little while longer. I don't really see the point in PvPing anyway till I've hit endgame, especially considering it's an utter *** atm, and most of the veteran players are mages who spam the same crap over and over.0 -
