So far I am loving his game and am almost level 50 but there are a few glaring issues I have a problem with.
1. No search function on the guild store - it really stinks having to go through 10 pages of stuff in hopes of finding the item you want, then not being able to find it.
2. Naming system - I don't know who came up with the whole idea about "hey lets give hackers half the information" When I open up the guild window I have no way to associate the player with the account name. My friends name is ulrick, yet in the guild window he is Trashman. This is a nightmare.
3. Broken Quest - Personally I don't really have any problems with this and typically when this happens I move on. So far I have found 2 really broken quests, but I also found like 6 where i had to log out and log back in to finish a conversation to get completion.
4. Broker / cod fees - they are insanely to high.
To me these are game breaking items that make me want to quit or just not be a part of them. I refuse to use the guild auction store, its easier just not to use it. The naming system, well with all the hacking and account stealing i would imagine this is going to hurt more than help. Not to mention I don't want someone to know my account name, when I switch to an alt it usually means I don't want to be bothered.
I do not like having to trade daggers to get more exp for crafting. I am a solo player and while many of you might not play like me, I am sure there is a crowd here that does. You know, the crowd that likes to do everything solo, except for raiding. I don't want to associate myself with people, unless they are the people I will be raiding with. To force me into doing so is just pitiful.
In closing, I will hit max level, and max VR if the raiding sucks then this game will sit on the shelf with dozens of other mmos and Ill personally go back to playing league.
Bonds are made through guilds, and it is awesome I can have 5 guilds, however the guild chat window right now is garbage. I would suggest implementing a number by the name of the guild to know which of the 5 is talking. But for me it doesn't really matter, because like another poster said, I joined 4 guilds for the store and mute them. The first guild will be my raiding guild.
Lastly the forums are complete garbage...
We need a general discussion tab, you can throw away the skill point break down section, and just do a tab for classes, your forums are like your guild auction house.
We will also need a tab for raiding.
I love the elder scrolls series, and as a single player game with some people interaction this game shines, but as an mmo I honestly feel it falls short of what the community as a whole expects out of an MMO. Which is:
Fluff
Raids
Housing
Dungeons
Quests
Crafting
Forums
Anyhow that is my piece and I am sure many of you will disagree, but that doesn't mean I am wrong by any means. Because in this mmo there are 2 different people. Casual and hardcore, casual people are still lvl 20 hardcore are 50 or close. The hardcore crowd wants different things than the casual crowd. And honestly if a game does not cater to both of them the game will slowly die.
