Werewolf trolling... seriously.

So last night I promised a friend of mine I'd bite him because the sun had just come up from a werewolf night. We met up at the ritual spot and for some reason I couldn't bite him.
(Yes I had the passive, there is more to the story...)

3 people ran over 2 were together and one bit the other... the 3rd guy however was alone and decided to jump around my friend as I was spamming e to bite my bro.

Yea, I bit this random and now have to wait 7 days till I can infect another guildie...

I'm not complaining about to cd of biting... if you see someone trying to bite another player.. don't interfere with it. Its not cute, and its not funny.

That was his intent - to get you to bite him, not your bro. I would have reported the player, stated the behavior.

    Agree'd.

Its funny, little after I bit him he said he was "Waiting on a friend." So I told him to tell his friend to come bite my guildie... then he vanished / ported away / went into the werewolf instance. At that point I was extremely angry... I reluctantly reported him for it however, because to be quite honest. Getting infected was 100 percent an accident. I didn't realize I had the initial disease until about level 48 When I had already finished Bangkorai.
Just randomly happen while questing from what I remember.

Reported him for what? For protecting someone from a werewolf attack? It's not intended behavior to inflict diseases on those who payed you first. Sounds to me like all is fair in this situation.

WAY TO GO NOT READING WHAT WAS ACTUALLY POSTED. Typical forum warrior, always looking for a negative way to post, and making your own arrogant spin on what has been said without actually reading it properly. Like you know better right?

If you read what he actually wrote in the OP he said he was biting a friend because his friend missed out on the werewolf spawn times. Very generous of him. he also said he has to wait another 7 days to bite a guildie.

Sounds to me like he isn't charging anything you pessimistic ***.

Yep, no charging. We are trying to spread vamp/werewolf through the guild to people that want them.

The people that charge money for it are clever... because honestly, its easy to get either skill line.

I won't lie, i charge people for werewolf bites. Might as well make some money from it while i can if so many other people are doing it.

However i respect anyone that passes up on 20k ish to bite a friend.

    Well done sir. :)

There isnt actually anything wrong, what are you going to report someone for? Jumping near you? There isnt some strict warewolf code of reportable honor. Calling people warriors on forum because you are mad someone out smarted you isnt exactly mature. Someone out smarted you, wait 7 days and deal with it.

Someone did earlier up was a general reference and im too lazy to quote them. That would require effort.

But how does that make me immature?

You drunk right now huh ;)

... wait 7 days and deal with it.
Yep out of my control to dictate the wait time. The bite passive cool down , as I've stated above, is completely understandable.

Just pissed me off when I'm trying to bite a friend and some dude, not even in my group, can be bitten over a groupmate.

This was more of a complaint of the mechanic I guess. Regardless its over and done, just simple posted this on the forums to warn people this is a possibility.

I almost had that problem trying to bite my BF. I believe that they should put the bite in the interact menue. You should still have to be at the ritual site, but have to focus on your target and "hold F" to interact with player, then select bite.

Yep, originally that's how I thought it worked. Until another guildie who had gotten werewolf in the guild first said it was a 'synergy' ability.

Good to know this didn't happen to you.

It is quite immature that someone out smarted you and you ran to the forums for a winge, yes.

Complaint about the mechanic? The mechanic is absolutely fine. You should have tried then relogged rather than stood for hours on end spamming the key until you stopped for a second to think if it was working.
I'm not complaining about to cd of biting... if you see someone trying to bite another player.. don't interfere with it. Its not cute, and its not funny.

So you expect people to stand by when they stand to gain something? If someone told me to jump in front of someone for the chance of selling it on for xxK id happily do it. I dont know you or care about you in game.

I fail to see your point.

May I again point out. The friend I wanted to bite was in my group, yet some random was bitten over him.

Also, I get it. You think I'm some 12 year old kid complaining about how I wasted something. That's not the case here. I simply wanted to bring it to the attention of people who come on the forums to be careful when they want to bite someone.

While the game mechanic doesn't prevent this behavior, it was not cool. You have to be careful with mmos though. Lots of jerks play. But no, this behavior should not be condoned. It should be reported. It is disrupting another player's game play, and that is against the ToS. He wasn't defending someone from a werewolf. He wanted to be bitten. Was it a PvP area? No? Then how was he "defending" something? This ranks right up at the top for lamest defense of crap behavior that I have ever seen.

Very well, your forum account was made on the 7th, this shows you were most likely not in the beta. So you couldn't be Culebrah. Second, you continue to post in my thread allowing other to see and therefore informing them of the problem with transmitting vampire/werewolf. And since most if not all of your responses are immediate, it indicates you think you are trolling me. Even though you short witty phrases that are supposed to "rustle my jimmies" or what ever its call now, they simple arn't. I find it amusing you chose to come on the forums basement dweller. Especially 7days after you last post. (Excluding the ones posted today.)

I find it quite pleasing that you give me all this attention. Thanks man!
