Become a werewolf at lvl 20?

I've been wanting to become a werewolf for awhile now. I know there's probably some downsides to it, but I want to be one nonetheless. I know that Bangkorai has a few locations where the infectious werewolves occasionally spawn, but I'm aware that it is a level 40-ish zone and my character is only level 20. Since I'm not willing to pay for a bite from another player, I just want to know if I have a good chance of entering Bangkorai, finding a werewolf, and getting infected with Sanies Lupinus before a bunch of campers kill it. I'm currently in Stormhaven.
