gold spam already and LOTS of it

i got a spam filter but they are avoiding it by simply placing more spaces / underscores etc to beat the filter is zenimax going to look at this as its really annoying really fast.

Zenimax has already been dealing with it, but as you may have realized, security and filters have to be reactive, not proactive. They can't guess how someone's going to circumvent the filter until they do it.

Report, ignore, move on.

Honestly, I almost never see them in the zones after the first city, DC side at least. I do once a day pop back there and report and ignore any I see.

Whats really annoying is the mails and guild invites, but those don't take long to report and ignore.

I haven't tried any of the chat filter addons yet, figured it was way to early to even bother with them as they will still be easily bypassed.

Edit: It also seems to be way less spam than on the second day of early access, I was honestly suprised to see it on day two.

It really depends on what server you are. I heard that EU doesn't have that many gold-sellers (which I guess is kinda true but there's still enough to annoy me a lot) and US have a bunch. There's also a big difference from time to time. One hour there's so many the chat is filled and another hour or day there's almost none.

It would be a small, nice convenience to have a right-click option to just simultaneously ignore and report as spam without a ticket and email response.

I'm on the US server. I don't know, maybe I'm lucky, or maybe I've already reported and ignored most of them so I don't even see them anymore.

A right click option to report a gold seller would be a nice touch, heck I came from eve and there if I remember correctly it was one of the right click options "report isk seller", took care of it all for you. That's whats really needed.

There are a few add-on spam filters and some are better then others. I thought the gold spammers where fixed, but I was just using a good spam filter add-on.

But I am still getting the 'mail' and 'guild invite' gold spam
