Just switched to this type of style at 15 with dual weapon. Starting to use One hand and Shield augmented with magic attacks, I've been purely cloth armor until now, I don't want to change think it can be pulled off with cloth armor?

I run a Nord Battle-Mage with Heavy armor, a two-handed sword and it works well.

It can absolutely be pulled off. If you don't have it, you'll want to pick up Lightning Form. (I have mine morphed to provide 24% increased movement speed). There is a youtube video by itsZiz in PvP with Sword-n-Board & Bow. Could help answer some of your questions. There are other videos out there that could help.

I personally use 2H with 1 move (Critical Rush) - other than that I use a lot of stormcaller abilities w/ a morphed Twilight Serpent

There's the lightning form and the light armor skill augmented something...I use those two together and mobs pretty much just die being around me and I hardly take any damage.

Don't forget that you can mix n match. Nothing says you have to run pure light armor. Personally, I do have all cloth armor - and yes sometimes I get my ass kicked, but overall you can take stuff down fast. I do have a fire staff that I fall back on if I need/want to do some AOE. My wife is a D/W battlemage that wears all leather. Like Chirru said above, they run heavy. A lot of it comes down to personal preference. I like the look of cloth & the mana it provides
