Advice - Vampire vs Normal

Im a pure Sorcerer, light armor, destro stuff etc and ive been thinking about going Vampire because of the passives (mainly)..
Now the thing is, the Fighters guild is basically an anti vampire/werewolf guild, you have a much easier time killing players who have turned, if youre lucky you can one shot.
Now, I dont want to be one shotted, people will run around casting Fighter guilds spells in PvP.
So, should i turn into a vampire or not? : P

The fighter's guild spells are less of a worry for you than the fact that half the classes in the game have fire attacks.
You can always get vampirism cured, so give it a try first and see if you like it.

The only Fighters Guild skill you will see in PvP is Silver Bolts (and possibly Dawnbreaker), unless someone dedicated their build to fighting Vampire and Werewolf players; and Silver Bolts doesn't do extra damage. It does however knock you down for quite a while if you're a Vampire/Werewolf, but that can be partially remedied by using CC breaker.

You should be more worried about your fire weakness as a Vampire, in terms of taking lots of damage. Stack lots of fire resist (although this means you sacrifice enchants for other stuff, so consider whether the Vampire passives are really worth this) if you don't want to be chewed up by Dragon Knights, Fire Destro staff wielders and Templars throwing the aptly named Vampire's Bane.

I dont mind the fire thingy, there are ways to stack up thousands of resistance against that.. Its the fighters guild im worried about, I dont want to be one shotted by people, or have enemies do 10% more damage on me.

Hardly anyone uses those skills in PVP.

You can tell this by the many threads about certain spells of Vampires being OP, where they pick on certain spells.. like mist-form... poor mist-form.

I for one will hunt your supernatural butt down and put a silver bolt in yer skull if i find you, but that is probably unlikely.

You just have to be aware of the Fire siege stuff and the people rocking pyromancer builds.

Even as a "normal" that oil and other siege weapons will still nearly 1-shot you with DoTs. The only main concern for anyone going as a Vampire is the fire resistance losss - which can be replaced with resistance glyphs to get one back to "normal" almost.

Werewolf and Vampire have their downsides at the moment, but their passives give interesting results from what I've looked up and witnessed first hand.

Even with thousands upon thousands of fire resistance you are still in danger.

It has a cap, caps at 50% what you would normally take.

    Vamps take 50% extra.

You will still take more fire damage and fire ballista, Dragon Knights, Fire staff wielders and some Templars will still chew you up faster than they normally would.

Then you have silver bolt flingers ... and I admit to being one of those .... just in case.

Based on the beta, the oil took 80% of the opponents health, but the healers would heal up right away, if it did 160% of the opponents health then its pretty OP..
Im imagining this based on how end game PvP will be like, im sure a lot of people will get Fire resistance (i will)

Actually Silver Bolt has a 5% chance to do a massive amount of extra dmg to Daedra, undead, and werewolves (with passive). At lvl 22 the extra dmg is 513, and it might scale to higher for lvl 50.
