Problems Logging In

I have played the BETAs, I have played headstart, and through launch. Two days ago I tried to log on. Announcements could not be retrieved and I received several error messages: Error 108, Error 200, Error 201, and Error 301 (I think).

The username is correct, password is correct, and I have the subscription set up. It came out of the blue and I spent the entire day researching the codes and doing everything I possibly could. Yesterday, I got out of work and came home and launched ESO. I was able to play without incident. I was pulled away from ESO by work so I hadn't been able to play into the night like I usually would.

Now, I launch ESO. The launcher is fine, I get little pop ups telling me about the 30 day subscription thing. I try to log in and get Error 201. Immediately, without the Logging in window, I get 201. If I keep trying I get the window and the 108 error code. If I keep trying I might get the 108 error code or the 200 error code.

Trying to load the forums or any ESO related websites Google Chrome will time out. I can't figure out what the hell is happening at all and it is frustrating beyond belief. I don't know if this is an actual ESO problem or some other obscure problem.

    I also have the same issue, however I will add that this seems to happen every every time there is a patch/update. Usually I have to delete and download the client again. However this time even that did not work. This occurs on my laptop which uses Windows 8.1. However today I loaded the game on my desktop which has windows 7 and it started right up, so my internet is not the issue.

    When I submitted a ticket the only option I was given was to try using the launcher in the game file instead of using the shortcut. This did not help my situation. I found online somewhere that you have to delete all the game files, not just use the uninstall in the launcher, then re-download the client.

    I have done this every time and it has worked. While this is a workaround of sorts, it is a bit of a pain in the @$$ since it takes about 5hrs to download, and I have had to do this several times now.

    The last ticket I put in, after submitting my report log, only got a response of "are you still experiencing an issue?". No suggestions, questions, or answers. Since this was 3 days after I had submitted the ticket I had already re-downloaded the client, so no I was not experiencing the issue. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that since I can play my other MMO's and since re-downloading fixes the problem, my computer is not the issue. I will accept that perhaps there may be an issue with playing the game with windows 8, but I am no means an expert. Just shooting from the hip here.
