[Bug/Feedback] Elementals in Quests and Language

I am trying to figure out if this is a bug or something that is intentional.
While doing quests such as Reclaiming the Elements, I think the elementals are speaking German. The text is in English, but their VOs are complete gibberish to me.
My game is set to English btw.
Originally I didn't mind as I could read what is said, but now I am at a point where I need to fight things AND listen to what the elementals say, but I can't understand a word they say!
Has anyone else noticed this?
