Merric - Proving the Deed Quest

In case anyone finds themselves in the same position as me, I could not find Merric when I got this quest at Level 28. It told me he was on a ship in Stormhaven. After looking around and finally using the journal to plot him on the map, it gave me a different location in Sentinel which I haven't opened yet. I noticed at that time that it is listed as a lvl 33 quest.

Bottom line: If you are looking for Merric on the ship in Stormhaven, ignore that marker - it's wrong. Use your journal map instead.

    You actually take the ship from Wayrest to Alik'r, I believe that's why the marker was telling you to go to the ship...it's not wrong it's saying "come here to get to where you need to be".

    Ahhhhh!! Thank you, I couldn't figure this one out!! It's been a few days I've been hovering about trying to find out where to go, but it won't take me to Alik'r yet. At least I know what to do now. Thank you! :)

    Actually I cannot take this ship, there are a lot of npc but not the one to sail... Maybe I'm missing something :|

    Yea the boat is bugged for me as well. I dont know how else to get to Alikr and I am out of other stuff to do

    Im lvl 40 in the AD faction , and im also stuck in this quest.

    It is said i must find the cat girl in the ruins , but i only find the quest marker , the NPC itself appears to be invisible to me , and hell , i relogged 5 times already.

    Well if I remember correctly last time I took the ship back to Alik'r (I don't like to fast travel so I do it the old fashioned way) the gentleman you need to speak with isn't actually on the ship, but is standing on the docks right before you go up the gangplank. Hope this helps.

    was trying to use a transport shrine but couldnt findvolks whatever tyo goto I guess it will show on map eventually?
