Bugged nodes

I've seen this a few times now, so I figured I needed to mention it on the forums, and I did submit a bug report. I have no idea if there's already a similar post elsewhere.

Has anyone else seen bugged crafting mat nodes like this. I can see the keen eye fire indicating the node, but there's nothing harvestable there. Also, woodworking is the only keen eye skill I have, so this is a bugged maple node. I saw three nodes like this yesterday.

yeah i've noticed this with alchemy items since i put in the skill point to get them highlighted.

part of me wonders if it's the game saying that the item will respawn there soon.

I get this too. All I do is wait a bit and she spawns

If you report it, make sure you stand on top of the spot where the node should be. When you do a bug report, most likely there are coordinates sent to the QA department, so they can notify the developers to exactly which nodes are having issues.

Perhaps the item has not fully rendered on your computer yet? I often find various landscape objects, NPCs, mobs and even other players rendering several seconds to a few minutes after my character stands in front of them.

I relog when this happens and it seems to fix the problem for me.

This started happening for me this weekend as well, not just with harvest noes but lorebooks as well. I can see the tell tale blue light that it should be there but its not. I usually have to camp to character select screen and back (Not /reloadui that doesn't fix it) to get them to show.

@LadyInTheWater I did stand on the spot of the node, and send a screen shot of the node when bug reporting.

@N_Hearthcroft‌ And I don't think it's just a local computer rendering issue. I did reloadui and still the nodes were broken. Fully logging out did seem to fix it, but that may have also worked simply because of the passage of time.

This happened to Fex today, on a rune. She had Keen Eye, I did not. She couldn't harvest it. I could.

Relog fixes this problem, however lately it forces me to relog in 5min intervals and that is very annoying

This happens to me in auridon in northwest region with Jute. Nowhere else I encountered this issue. Also reported the bug.

I'm wondering if this has to do with phasing. I know there are a few nodes on the edge between phases. When I encounter these, I will see the node from a distance, but as I approach within a few feet, it disappears. When I back up again, it re-materializes. Could be that Keen Eye is inadvertently showing you all possible nodes even ones that are spawned in phases other than the one you're in. Just a thought.

This started for me lately in a greater scale. I can play just fine, but sometimes whole areas have all resources bugged like this. I can see the glow from everything, but it is not there...I found out even skyshard in that area was missing completely! Relog fixed it, but after awhile bugged nodes are back.

Yesterday near Fort Arand in Stonefalls there are like 40 crafting nodes(juke) that instantly respawn. I've seen a lot of bots farming them. Yesterday there were people around the area telling anyone that tried to harvest them that they would be reported for exploiting a glitch.

I have been seeing this problem since release. The fix /reloadui. No logout required 99% of the time.

It is really bad when you can't interact with anything ... espically mobs that are attacking you.
