Mobs Health Regen

I'm a lvl 34 Templar and have had trouble with several mobs health regen i.e. Trolls and a couple harder mobs, I'll get them down to about 20% and my damage output is not enough to keep up with their regen. I use a 2-H weapon and try to keep watch on my Stam and Magika but does not seem to be enough. Has anyone else run into this trouble or maybe it's just me or a Templar problem.

I did the same mistake with a DK
Put to many skill points into defensive slots.
