Becoming a Werewolf - Is it worth it?

Hi folks.

So I recently have been bitten by someone kind enough to do so... but I'm questioning whether or not it's worth it.

My main concern is the "take 50% more damage from Poison Attacks" even though there aren't many poison attacks in the game. Also, the fact that it takes up your Ultimate slot... otherwise, it doesn't seem too bad to have.

Now, PvP... I don't focus on PvP much on any MMO; I'm more of a PvE type, but I hear some people are actually killing mobs quicker while not using WW form, considering they can also use their ultimate.

I'm just curious what others think.


Also, am I able to cure it at any time? Or must I before the 7 day timer thing runs out? If that's the case... I almost want to cure it now just based on the take more dmg from psn.

At level 15 you essentially have 2 Ultimate slots, although only the active one charges up as you hit things, and from what I've heard Werewolf form costs a lot of Ultimate (something like 1000).

As far as PvP goes, Archers are going to give you hell, as one of their attacks is a poison attack and I'm pretty sure most of them have it. Anyone who has bothered leveling up the Fighters Guild skill line is going to give you problems as well, as at level 7 they can spend a skill point to make all of the Fighters Guild skills effective against Werewolves as well.

As for curing it, I think that's an option when talking to the NPC that starts the quest, but don't quote me on that because I haven't actually gone through with the Werewolf stuff yet (plan on doing so, but it's in a high level area and I'm a completionist, so running to it before normal would simply serve to bother the heck out of me :P)

Right, fighter's guild + archers will destroy me most likely, unless they suck because I'm pro. And I'm aware we can have 2 ultimates, but if I'm just building it up for WW form, the other ultimate won't be used, or if I use it; all my ultimate goes to 0 and going from 0-1000 ultimate isn't fun (though killing werewolves does net a ton of ultimate for WW).

I'm just wondering, if I cure myself, can I try to obtain it again if I decide on doing so? I heard you couldn't, but I'm not sure if much is known exactly yet.
