[Request] Customizable Health Bars

I understand that the API has a ton of restrictions on what can and can't be done with the UI as far as giving information and such. With that said, I near desperately request for an addon that focuses on the healthbars of your enemies (though i suppose the same could be said of friendlies or even your own healthbar).
For clarity, I am talking of the one that floats in there area that a Nameplate would.
I'm not asking for buffs and debuffs and all that jazz, but for instance the ability to make them larger? I find them too small, myself, and rely on them to some extent due to the UI's um.. "immersive" nature.
Is this even do-able?
