[Request] Global crafting research tracking

Is it even possible to make an addon to automatically keep track of all completed/in progress crafting research?
It is so annoying that I have to run to craft station to see which researches I have done or even more annoying to have to relog back and force to see researches on my alts.
The idea is:
show panel with tabs for craft professions (blacksmith/clothier/woodworker);
every tab has table listed all traits and all types of items with checmarks for completed research;
dropdown with list of characters;
Ideally keep information on per account, not per char and do updates on character login/logout/completed research.
