First: no, I'm not talking about the beloved Mother Goddess of Morrowind, Almalexia of the Tribunal. I'm talking about the city Almalexia... The capital of Morrowind.
If you're not familiar with the lore, Mournhold (the city featured in Deshaan), is a small temple/palace city inside Almalexia. In essence, Mournhold is the Vatican of the Elder Scrolls world, but it is no way a city that exists on it's own... It exists very much in the heart of the city of Almalexia, which, according to lore, "is absolutely ancient, possibly predating the Dunmer themselves".
So here's my question: where's Almalexia in the Elder Scrolls Online? It's not there at all, which is absolutely ludicrous. It doesn't detract from the game in any way, but as a huge fan of TES lore this is a pretty freaking huge oversight by the developers that could possibly threaten the existence of Almalexia as canon itself... Was the budget too low to include it, or something?
