Motif books not transferable to alts?

I got a motif book on one of my chars, with the motif already known to my char.
An alternate char does not know that motif, so I tried to transfer that motif book via the shared bank.
But the motif book is not shown when trying to deposit using the "Consumable" filter in the banking interface.
Are motif books not transferable to alts?
Or not able to be stored in the shared bank?

Killgar✭I've dropped them into the bank on one character and withdrawn it from another, so it should work. Did you check the other tabs, or just viewing all? It might be listed under misc. or materials.1 -
