Alik'r Provisioning Recipes

Any chance the loot tables are screwy? Or that there aren't enough trunk-type containers in the zone? I search everything but never found provisioning recipes for the Alik'r ingredients I was collecting until running the Alik'r main dungeon and buying two off of a groupmate. After that I finished the low-level main quest in Coldharbour I had been putting off and pulled 5-6 recipes for the ingredients I had been collecting.
Oversight or bad luck on my part?
edit: actually, I did find some recipes but I'd always find the same 2-3 while I was leveling from 31-36, and was surprised at how many new ones I pulled from level 20-30 main quest trunks
