Question for Templars

Repentance vs Radiant Aura?

I think it's really a question of role (tank should use Repentace, healer should use Radiant), but i'm just wondering how people have been using these morphs and specifically how they feel about their decision in the end game.
See, I chose Repentance, for the second self heal skill (and i use stamina alot i'm heavy armour with 2H), but i really don't know if it's gonna be useful in PVP. i'm not sure how many bodies are gonna be laying around in PVP (other than NPC's while rushing the inner gate at a keep, cause players will respawn quickly).
Also, I PVP in a large group almost all the time, so it seems like it might make more sense to respec now for Radiant, while it's cheaper and I have the rest of PVE to get my skills back up to morphed lvl 4 (i'm lvl 25 now).

Rambling now, so to simplify my question:
What have people chosen, and how does it suit them, with specific attention to end game PVP?

Neither. IMO Restoring Aura and its morphs are poor skills that aren't worth a slot on my skill bar.

Restoring/Radiant Aura may be good if the boost it gave wasn't subject to soft capping. As it is at the very most (no investment or enchantment in health/stamina) it provides a ~50% boost, and with investment this value can drop much lower. For the very short duration it has and its magicka cost it simply isn't worth it.

One thing Restoring/Radiant Aura may be useful for is to stretch your stamina so you and your group can run longer. But really, there are better skills for that (Retreating Maneuver).

Repentance is not a bad skill but is situational. I'd rather have a skill that I know will always work rather than something that may not work at all, especially when you need it the most (e.g. boss fights).

My main interest in having it slotted was for the 15% health and stamina regen, but I guess that's what you were referring to with soft caps?
With that, does the health/stamina regen bonus apply to in combat regen, out of combat?

People underestimate repentance so much. After you kill 1 mob pack you can restore almost your entire stamina bar and a considerable amount of hp. At a cost of 0!! And you can use it on dead groupmates in dungeons.

My templar tank never touched restoring light tree. Went into dawns wrath for debuffing and DOT. Sun Fire morphed into Vampires Bane for more DOT, Solar Flare morphed to Solar barage for AOE when enemies come close. Especially with one hand and shield morph pierce armour.

My tank went down a few times, due to casters (freaking hate them lol) and one bug in game where the enemy kept knocking me down and my tank could not get up. Was considering adding some sort of healing......
mDKs still need a lot of love!

When leveled up the regen tree has some pretty beastly HOT's. Pretty low magika cost too.

Also, I'm finding it real easy to be of the 2h resto staff variety of templar and keep a group up. Magika is almost a non-existant issue if I don't have to use rushed ceremony more than 4 times in succession. (I'm lvl 30)

maybe try using your second set of skills to throw down some aoe heals and hots with a 2h, then jump back into the mob?
