Race and pact combinations

Hi, we who pre-ordered the game have the possibility to make whichever character we want into whatever pact we want. Will this be possible forever? Or will it get restricted in time?

There was no mention of restrictions and now that the pre-order period is over, I can still make any race on any alliance.
