Sorting addons? Is it possible?

For example like in some Skyrim mods - with renamed items:
(Gem) *name*
(Enchant Gem) *name*
(Rune) *name*
(Heavy) *armor name*
(Medium) *armor name*
(Light) *armor name*
(Bite) *name*
(Craft Res) *name*

You got it... Or something else...
Is it possible? Cuz the current "system" is pure mess!
