Warning : do not delete any needless quest items unless ...

During the quest line of the Wyrd Sisters (Beldama Wyrd Tree), I had collected too many stones (used to open portals during the quest Reclaiming the Elements). Since I had ended that specific quest and I had too many needless stones, I deleted them. This, to my great surprise, deleted the entire quest line!

This dynamic should be changed : deleting a quest item should not be the direct equivalent of abandoning a quest, unless a warning ask you to confirm that is your intention.

I am now waiting for support to fix this.

Anyone have a work-a-round or trick to regain the quest in my journal ?

OK, I was able to backtrack to the last NPC and get back on the quest line though it had been removed from my journal.

Just out of curiosity. Why you did delete the items? Quest items don't affect inventory space afaik.

I thought they did at the time and just out of principle of flushing needless stuff, but now that I know it can delete a quest...
