Undaunted Guild - How to progress ?

I joined the Undaunted Guild when I was quiete low lvl, Iam lvl 20 in the meanwhile and the progress bar from the Undaunted Guild did not move a lot.

The Undaunted Guild progress bar is still at lvl 1 and still needs 2/3 more to reach lvl 2.

How do you progress in this guild ?? I did not got any quests anymore and I did finish already a lot of dungeons.

Something is wrong here and I could need some help.

Ah, the Undaunted. Okay. Talk to -everyone- in the various inns. Some of them are actually Undaunted members and they'll give you places you can go to beat on things...

You need to complete the four-man instanced dungeons, and do their achievements as well.

Ok, I will try it and hopefully I can still do the low lvl quests. I never saw any quest markings.

You won't see quest markers. Interestingly, there are things that don't show up with quest markers or anything - talk to everyone that you can interact with.

I finished the whole Island already and did all dungeons.

You may already know this but you can do the other areas dungeons also. Once you finish yours the other ones will show up on the map. You can click on them and travel to them.

The solo dungeons don't count. Look for the group based dungeons, the ones with the + next to them. Not sure if the 'public group dungeons quests' count tho, but they do have cool items once you complete the 'public group dungeons quests'.

Complete Fungal Grotto, Banished cells, and Spindleclutch. These are your first set of three 4 man dungeons.

Now Do the next set of 3 , so on and so forth. Think By level 30 I had the Ranged taunt unlocked which like guild rank 3 or 4.

How can you do this as a set, when everyone of them is from a different faction ?

Open up a wayshrine. Those three are still available, regardless of faction.

Leave the dungeon and you end up back at your start point.

Once you complete your factions dungeon for that Tier the other to become unlocked and you can teleport to them just like a wayshrine.

When I want to look for a group I get only lvl 20-23 dungeons but not the ones for the lower levels.

I cant finish the dungeons by my own. Strange game mechanic.

Just park outside the low level dungeon, it only took a few mins when I did that to get a few invites. (or use zone chat)

Most group runs that work well, will also want to do the other two instances (so you all get the achievement.

I did give up after almost 30 minutes looking for a group in the chat, everyone is just using the easy group search and dont care about chat search.

This is a broken game mechanic if you cant join a group only because you are just a little higher in lvl, you dont get even xp from mobs but that would be no issue.

Yeah.

Being unable to queue for the lower level dungeons is kind of a pain. Some people did actually miss those and need to go back to finish them.

I have helped a few guildmates here or there do this... but the LFG needs to let higher level people go back.

I guess if you dont finish the first 3 dungeons for the Undunted Guild, you cant advance with the next ones..

So here's a question, regarding all guilds:

To level undaunted, you do dungeons, to level mage's guild, you find lore books, and to level fighter's guild, you kill daedra.

For other skill lines, you level them by having skills from those lines on your action bar. If you put a skill from one of the guilds on your bar, will that help level the guild's skill line?

It does not. It still levels the individual skill, but your guild rank will not progress unless you meet their individual requirements.

Level the Undaunted by doing 4-man instanced dungeons as has already been said. There are 15 non-vet dungeons. They are recognizable as having the torch icon used for dungeons but with a + sign beside it.

You do not have to complete the 4-man for your alliance to have the others available to you. If you talk to the Undaunted in the inn, one or two of them will give you the map markers for the other factions' dungeons at that lvl.

Slotting skills for Undaunted, Mages Guild, or Fighters Guild does not lvl the skill. Fighters Guild progresses from closing Dark Anchors or killing Daedra and Undead. Mages Guild progresses from finding purple lorebooks and that's it. Undaunted progresses from completing quests and achievements in the instanced dungeons. AFAIK Undaunted does not progress from doing Public Dungeon achievements/ bosses, but I haven't tested this thoroughly myself.

With many of the dungeon quests bugged (don't even show up when zoning in) leveling undaunted has been very difficult...

I'm certain when I first started Undaunted from the Inn in Auridon I was given the quest in my Journal to kill the King in the Banished Cells. At the time I couldn't do that because I wasn't in to joining a group so I abandoned the quest.

Later on, yesterday, I revisited the Turuk in the Inn but he would not give me the quest again in the Journal.

I joined a group and we finished off Banished Cells and I got the achievement too and the dungeon is whited out on the map. But returning to Turuk I still got no acknowledgement. I watched a YouTube video and when accomplished correctly there seems to be some celebration and indoctrination that takes place--nothing.

One of the NPCs does mention two other dungeons in Daggerfall and Ebonheart regions though. BEFORE completing the dungeon I had already been offered the first active skill though which seemed very confusing. After completing the dungeon I took the skill using a skill point and assigned it the bar but Turuk still didn't say anything different.

I'm beginning to wonder if something wasn't glitched early on? I looked through my achievements and didn't see anything pertaining to the Undaunted and that's funny too because both the Fighters and Mages Guilds exist.

I hate to put effort into these other two dungeons which will likely be much tougher even with a group (higher level) until I know if this quest line is working or not.

Trying to elevate this through Support to learn? This thread has been helpful.
